Protests against Quebec Charter continue in Montreal

Protesters against the proposed Quebec Charter of Values gathered on the corner of De Maisonneuve Blvd. and Rue Guy on Sunday October 20. The  Charter, if approved, would ban any ostentatious displays of religion.

Above, Neil Prasad ends the protest against the recently proposed Quebec Charter of Values with an inspiring speech at Square Berri on the corner of Rue Berri and Saint Catherine St.. The protest was followed by several speeches from community members and a dance party.
